Stopped at a little neighborhood pond yesterday not expecting much, if anything. I don't know what the water temp was but it was very cold. I stumbled across a school and got them fired up with a jerkbait. Caught 4 on 4 consecutive casts and another a couple of casts later. The best one was about 3 lbs. Decided to end on a high note and get back to work, so I left after about 20 minutes.
They are still out there and they are still hungry!
