Caught this one last night on Hubbard. It was my first Carp, and it was FUN. I didnt have a scale, but all I know is it was heavy. There were people almost falling off the dock just to get a looksie at what I was pulling in. I was busy talking and not paying attention, so naturally it took a mouthfull and hauled booty. All I heard was that zizzzzz noise from the drag and he was running. Sorry for the ramble, but I dont catch many this big!  PS Im not cross eyed, I was just looking at my fish!

nice carp. bet it was a blast reeling it in.. It was a blast. He wanted to go every other way except my way. My arm that was holding the pole almost burst into flames, my muscles were burning up. I thought for a second that I just might loose the fish and my pole. Thank god for nets!

We used to fish for them a long time ago and I'm going to get the gear to do it again.

Guess you can see why some of us get so addicted to carp, the reel-smoking, drag-screaming brawl they always put up!
That burn in your arm is the burn of success, hehe.
If you turn into a carp angler, you'll start catching fish that size on a more consistent basis!
Is there any way you could enlarge the picture? It's a pretty small shot, I might be able to give you an estimate on the fish's weight if you can re-size the picture so it's a lot bigger.
