Surf fishing is not the best right now, try the jetties they seem to be doing fair towards the end . catching some specs and smacks

I look at the salad from a different point of view. As an offshore fisherman I love and hate the stuff. Love it when they form long weedlines in blue water full of pelagics such as wahoo, dorado tuna and billfish. Hate it when it is so scattered that you cannot keep the grass of your trolling lures. That is the way it was last Thursday when we went 60 miles offshore. We could not troll but caught several dorado and one wahoo jigging some of the bigger paddies of grass. Offshore anglers LOVE the grass.

Couldn't agree with you more ,groupertrouper. I only went out about 10 miles on saturday and couldn't keep it off my line.
