Still waiting for water here as well!
Turns out it takes 2 days for snow to melt and the microwave doesn't effect it!

Aren’t you under a boil water order? Aren't we all? North and west FW are, but south Fort Worth is not.

Not full but some! No leaks so far. Man that’s some good news Bigbob...and you certainly are overdue for some of that!

no water in this town since Monday. Sure the storm made a difference but water in our town us always shaky, even on good days. It's getting old fast. Can't even boil water cause there is none coming out of the tap.
And they are building hundreds of new homes on this shaky water grid. Ridiculous.

Ours came on around 6 yesterday and only had one small leak. Took forever to find the part but shower and toilet are now available.

Our friends down the road paid $160 for 10 minutes of plumber work yesterday. His fix is now a geyser in the garage. He got laid off last month, and they just spent thousands on other plumbing repair. Send a prayer if you have time.

Just drink beer. That's one of the big reasons beer was made...it was safer to drink than water back then. They didn't realize that the boiling process in brewing is what made it safe to drink. That is true. Beer was safe to drink while water was often risky... All things repeat themselves.

And they are building hundreds of new homes on this shaky water grid. Ridiculous. NOW the water dept. says they are unable to estimate when we will have water, not boil water, but ANY water of any kind, they will "re-evaluate" Monday. School District said it is closed indefinitely "until further notice". Only city in our county to have no water at all. Piss poor cause this happens WAY to often here. Thinking about moving. do NOT buy a home in Alvarado until you are sure the city has made vast improvements to its water system! Asking for trouble if you do.

Lowew79, Johnson County Special Utility District is your water company, right? They are ours here in Joshua. We came back to full pressure yesterday afternoon. We were without water for 26 hours and that was miserable. I can't imagine an entire week. I'm surprised y'all are still without water, only because I haven't seen anyone mention it on Facebook for a couple of days.
I'm really sorry you're going through that

I'm really sorry you're going through that Nope our city decided in its wisdom to NOT be part of JCSUD. AFTER having numerous water outages, the city council still said no we aren't going to join JCSUD. A lot LOT of city council members and a mayor are about to be looking for new jobs and/or hobbies. Anyway I'm just grumpy because my wife and daughter haven't had a shower and they are getting snippy lol. Thank goodness we were already drinking bottled water (because of the issues I mentioned that began years before the storm) so we aren't sying of thirst or anything. God is taking care of us, maybe not the way we'd like, but everyone is healthy and safe. I just needed to vent a little. Thanks for the prayers and concern all!
