Of course our gas is back on and we can use the dishwasher
Its amazing how these things work out when everyone screams at the politicians.

Appaerntly the politicians did, now they have hit the switch and turned it back on.

There has been several low pressure issues in DFW from all providers. Some areas did loose gas service or it was low enough to knock out pilot lights and cause furnaces not to run. It could have been a lot worse.

Yes we had no gas. Pilot light would not light until it came back on.
Only thing affected was hot shower and washing dishes,
Cold shower and dishes are not 21st century
But I would go to the store at 7 when they opened and get the last loaf of bread or the last gallon of milk
or the last dozen eggs and the people behind me found out that the early bird does get the worm

Umm, the hot water heater that heats the water for the dishwasher runs off gas. Cold water wash not so good.

I thought the dishwasher heats it’s own water, that is if you have electrical power.

Good point. Don't know cause we don't have one.

Anyway glad you got your gas back on. We had an outage up here one time due to a faulty valve somewhere in our towns supply. The gas company had to go to each house and relight every pilot. Not out long and that was a pain so I hope you have no more issues.
