This thread is for posting updates on the white bass run at Neches RIver in Chandler, I will be posting updates as I go.

Caught 30 small males on 2/4...it was in the process of getting started. I am assuming this will push things back a bit.

Went yesterday 2/23 caught 12 sand bass. These fish were on the bottom and about a pound a piece. Looking forward to going back soon.

Went yesterday. River was really high, muddy, and running fast. Caught a couple small males. Not many people there for a Saturday. I think the big freeze kinda messed things up.
You should have been here yesterday...

Driving by on the way to my jobs out that way...Parking lot filled today...plus spots next to Kickapoo further out 31 West. Might there a sandy or two being caught?

Caught 65-70 last Friday - only 2 females. Fish are there for sure

I fished this past Friday 3/12 I fished south of hwy 31. I started fishing 12:30 and fished until 3:30 only caught three fish. I saw a couple of people fishing with worms they were catching fish I am not one that likes fishing like that but I may have to try it.

Any fish in the river right now? Has the run started? Is it over? Please someone give us an update .
