MDM Pro Angler M Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 912 Between Dallas & Tyler	May fish like the Missouri cold water lakes, slow, slow jerkbait for suspended pre-spawners in the deeper, clearer water on the lower end of the lake. Temperature change from this weekend’s ice melt runoff may be less drastic in the deeper water than the normal upstream locations like Flat, Kickapoo and the Neches River. But I’m sure somebody will catch a few in one foot of water!

In my experience the water temp doesn't matter. It matters what it was 3 days ago. I've seen amazing shallow fishing in 45 degree water after a warm up from 39-40
