Looking forward to trying those this year. Should sound and look different for a year to two.

H2o CRS and CRM have done as well or better than anything I've thrown. Never seen a reason to swap hooks either. Caught some big mean Falcon fish and never had an issue with the hooks.

Gawdd! Those hooks are terrible but I love the profile of the crul and cruld. They catch a lot of the fish the larger profile ones miss

The old school Bandit crankbaits that were made In Sardis Ms, have a few with the paint mauled off and hooks changed a couple of times, also in the running the baby 1- and RC 1.5

100% true, still have hundreds of the Bandit 100's and 200's. the newer ones made overseas are made with a thinner plastic that doesn't run as true and breaks easier. and the hooks suck.

I've been looking at these Lucky Craft square bills on sale at Cabelas.com. Any thoughts on quality or price?

I have gift cards I need to use.

I have caught some of my biggest fish on the 1.5s. So far I have not had any issue with the hooks.
I have some where the bills are almost ground down to nothing. I keep these, put fresh hooks on them and use them above grass.
The biggest so far my biggest was 7.5 lbs with many 6s and 5s. Countless smaller fish. Smallies like this bait as well.
I typically use shad and black/chartreuse.
