Local TV 12 in Beaumont reporting lake effect snows from Livingston, TB & Rayburn. It sure is cold here at Rayburn. 20

If the water temp was 55 before this, 'shirley' it will be mid 40s after. Assuming any early spawners will not make it, glad to know bass go in waves and not all at once.

I'm guessing water temp will be low 40s with the back of some small creeks icing over these last few days. A guy I work with lives south of jasper and said he could see the lake effect snow coming off of rayburn. He said it was clear on both sides with a strip of clouds coming from right over the lake.

Went to Jasper this AM, Devil's Ford was iced over at the bridge on 96.
At least the Giant Salvinia is being controlled by Mother Nature.
