Family is everything! Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

Not really fair taking this poll now. Do it in July or Aug, and results would be reversed. As I age, I will say that heat would be my choice, I guess. I stated in an earlier post that water temps will hover around 42-43 in this cold snap. Wrong! We should see 38 degree temps after this blast!

Give me the cold! You can always put on more clothes...but if you take off too many, you might just end up in jail...or on a date....or both....

Prolonged 27 shuts down the economy
Prolonged 107 and people complain, but still able to work. why does 27 shut down the economy? We don't shut down up here till about -30 with wind above 10 MPH Those two weeks of mid 20s and some ice around Jerry’s Super Bowl in 2010 shut down about 80% of mom and pop businesses for 12 days or so in DFW. The metromess just doesn’t have the ice trucks, trains/infrastructure to handle prolonged cold and ice.

We don't shut down up here till about -30 with wind above 10 MPH I guess if 27 shut down the economy half the country would be shut down between DEC and MAR I'll take 27 over 107 with humidity Things are different in geographical areas that are used to experiencing very cold temps. Homes are built differently, roads are designed differently, infrastructure in general is designed for cold. Example you have snow plows, salt trucks things like that. We have like 4... Not to mention folks are used to driving in those conditions and as a result know how to handle it safely. We wreck out fast in rain, forget about snow or ice.

I would much rather have 107 vs 27. I can handle heat much better than cold. Our homes are designed to handle heat vs cold here in central Texas. I just want 1 good freeze / year so I can Roundup my yard. Other than that, you can keep the cold. I did enjoy the snow a couple weeks ago, but it didn’t get very cold and the snow melted the next day.

Six of one, 1/2 dozen of the other for me. I wouldn't be outside too much in either one.
