I asked this ? before and never saw an answer. I know the the control has a throttle friction adjustment but does it also have detent? The concealed controls on my Ranger had both. If the idiot I bought the boat from had kept the owners manuals I would not have to ask.

Go to Mercury's website and search for the model control you have. Installation and operation manuals are available to down load. There are actually several different models so check which one you have.

Go to Mercury's website and search for the model control you have. Installation and operation manuals are available to down load. There are actually several different models so check which one you have. OK, I will try that again. I have Googled it but since I have been on phone I have not tried to download the control manual. I have motor manual on laptop.

There are actually several different models so check which one you have. I tried that and could not find it. I sent an email and they told me to call. I have not called yet. I may just take the cover off again and look for an adjustment.
