To avoid any potential flight stoppage and/or quarantine issues, consider going to a US territory.
Would be much easier getting back if issues arise.
Puerto Rico
US Virgin Islands
Keys
Guam
American Samoa
Northern Mariana Islands
Midway St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands is nice with great beaches.

We’re going to Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana in July. We’ve been to their Cozumel location and had a great time so I’m hopeful on this trip.

not until you are free to return to the states without a covid test A friend of ours was in Cancun for a wedding last week and tested positive on her exit test. They put her in a secluded room and posted a guard so she couldn’t get out. Dropped off room service to her room outside the door. It was a Friday and they said she could retest until Monday because the test people did not work on weekends except for departing tests. They never showed up until today to test her. It was negative so she gets to fly home in the morning. If she would have tested positive she would have been quarantined in her rom for another 10 days. And the room is not free. Regular rates.

Yep, if I can't get in a rental car and drive home I won't be going there until I can get the vaccine.

Grace Bay - Turks and Caicos. The most serene beach and crystal clear water in the caribbean.
Several good resorts on Grace Bay. We liked the Grace Bay Club and the Seven Stars.

Sounds like a kickback scheme to me. Probably never even completed the test.

its all 3rd world once you leave the property. i actually had a good time in jamaica shopping the card board box neighborhoods.
