They have said they will support the motor for several years but depending on the area you may have a hard time finding someone who will work on it.

I have 2 dealers within 35 miles that work on them. They have not had problems getting parts or getting paid on warranty.
There are plenty of dealers. If you live somewhere in deep east Texas or far west you will probably have to drive a while for service. But that isn’t unusual for any brand.

As mentioned, great motors, just make sure you have a mechanic within a distance you are willing to drive that works on them

I'm in need of an Etec mechanic for my 05' 225 Etec on my Ranger.

Lost power to get up on plane last weekend, did compression check on all 6 cylinders results 115-120PSI, checked plugs all look good except top starboard (I believe that is #1) plug was wet oily looking. pulled injector on that cylinder cleaned best that I could including ring filter inside. Ran this morning decent hole shot and within 30 minutes power loss again.

I'm in Roanoke, Texas (near DFW airport and Texas Motor Speedway)

Thanks

Outdoor specialties in Eastland, Sandy Creek Marina in Breckenridge. I’ll bet there is at least one in Fort Worth.
