diesel can gell at 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit
A similar process takes place when diesel fuel begins to crystalize during cold weather. When the weather is close to 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit*, gelling starts to occur and can clog the fuel system (*depending on the source and quality of fuel, gelling can occur as high as 20 degrees Fahrenheit) .

stations should have a winter blend in the tanks but this far south some may not, HOWES diesel treat is great stuff to prevent it.

Excellent PSA hop - I don't have a diesel but I've driven them when I was working.

Speaking for myself only, I'm looking forward to more of your posts during the current weather event.

Will those three options listed above treat the gelling or are they just treatments/additives? I've been seeing I need something that specifically says anti-gel. Going into my 15 Duramax, coldest she'll have ever seen it!

I'm planning on plugging her in as well.

Howe's and 911 are anti gel. The Power Service Diesel Kleen is a Cetane booster.

HOWES is for sure an anti gel, check the container, it should say anti gel in the list of what it does.

I used howes in the semi, anti gel and cleans injectors etc. wally world has it at the best price. I have to go get some tomorrow for our tractors, sherp and fuel tank.

Thanks y'all. Looking at my local Ace, they have the Power Service Brand. Was heading there today anyhow for some cold stuff, will add this to my basket.

Howes or Power Services Diesel Fuel Supplement. The PS 911 is for after the fact.

I've never had any issues (thankfully). I was in -18 in Kansas in January 2018 and no issues then.
