Does anyone know if Fayette County Reservoir or Gibson Creek Reservoir are one, open to the public and two, producing warm water? If not, are there any power plant lakes open and pushing warm water into the lake?

May as well forget them. It’s gonna be too rough just getting the boat/truck to the lake to fish. And when it clears up, it’ll be spring before ya know it and the shallow bite will be going good.

As for the questions. I don’t know the answer to anything, just feel like typing.

Gibbons - open, not generating.
FCL - open, generating. I wouldn't get on FCL with all of the wind in the forecast. Very, very cold and very, very windy on FCL is not fun.

Be safe,

No bass in Calaveras anymore and I don’t believe Braunig generates anymore from what I was told.

Lake Arlington rarely generates but this cold snap might do it.

I remember driving 5 hours to fish Fairfield on icy roads. Young and foolish then, not now.
