Not sure about ramp condition, but unless you are familiar with that run not sure I would make it from Cassels Boykin to 103 area.

Dont make that run unless you know it. Better to launch at 103 and idle around from there if you dont know the run. Fishing will be getting into a funk though if they are spraying up there, just depends on where you go

We’re headed to Rayburn next Friday. I’ve only been on the lake once. Any suggestions on an area to target?

If you launch at cassels boykins that whole area is pretty good. Pophers, the canyons, those can take a whole weekend. If your not familiar and want to get out a little I would hit Caney creek, the lake from there to the south is pretty clear, not totally clear though.

Make sure and get a breakfast sandwich at Lakeview before you launch at Cassle Boykin. You can thank me later.

Launched at Etole park (103 bridge) today. Shallow shallow shallow. But I got boat in, Fished the bridge and rocks then headed toward the 147 bridge fishing several coves along the way. Could not get a bite on the point with deep water near. Found no grass in the areas that I fished. I bought a Lance VIck boat lane chip, Ran the lanes with not problems. AND the fishing ----- I got one in the boat--- that is it!! Will try to find where all them fish are hiding next week after the cold ;passes.

The fishing will be completely different next Friday after the frigid Norther hits and holds on for a while! OMG

The Etole ramp doesn’t allow much room for parking and there was a chug hole in the middle of the ramp last summer. We just launched on the right side without issues. Lake is only 1.5 ft. low so you should not have any issues.
