My favorite would depend on what technique you are talking about. I don't have just 1 all favorite rod. My most sensitive one is a NRX bait caster with a 2020 Daiwa Tatula Elite that I use for dropshotting. For Tx. rig and shaky head I love my Shimano Poison Adrena's. I have 3 of them. The sensitivity of this rod is amazing. Its the closest one that I have found to the sensitivity of the NRX. I have a bunch of different combo's that I like for a specific technique both for throwing hard baits and soft baits, large and small.

Reels run the gamut from mostly Lews Team stuff, Shimano mid to lower mid level stuff (chronarchs and Curados), and a handful of older non-twinged Steez reels.

I have three setups ALWAYS on the deck.

A Falcon Lowrider Shaky head spinning rod (for Senkos) with a Shimano Stradic Ci4 250 sized reel.
A Falcon Lowrider Lizard Dragger BC with a Diawa Steez 6.3 reel for Shaky heads. Haha.
A Falcon Lowrider Flipping rod with a Lews Custom Lite SLP 7.5 for, well..Flipping

Is that shaky head rod fast enough? I am very partial to Falcon but opted for a Dobyns 702 for light spinning work as I wasn’t sure about the specs on the Falcon spinning setups?

Have you spent much time with the all around fast Lowrider? It’s my favorite action in a rod they sell.

Delta Edgerod by Gary Loomis with a Daiwa Tatula 150 reel. I've been slowly swapping out my stcroix and gloomis rods for the edgerods. They have carbon fiber handle which allows more feeling than cork or foam that absorbs vibrations. I've already switched out most of reels to the Tatula 150 reels.

I'm normally not critical of what anyone uses but have to draw the line at Edge Rods. I fell for their marketing gimmicks on FB and bought two. Worst customer service I've ever seen in my life and both rods looked like they were assembled by a drunk monkey.

This is some straight facts! The rods look amazing and were pretty sensitive for all things considered but when you have issues with the rods and contact customer service you will be in for a big awakening!

Below is what I posted on here a while back but worth a repeat.

Quote
Back in Oct. '18 I ordered a Delta rod from them. 8 weeks later it showed up broken in half from the cheap rod tube it was sent in. I called and got someone on the phone the same day. He gave me an email to send pictures to and said they would send out a replacement. Aside from being broken in half it looked to be a surprisingly nicely built rod for $149 so I went ahead and ordered a second one. Two months later and over a dozen attempts to get ahold of someone on the phone and email I finally connected. This time the lady I spoke with knew nothing of my broken rod and had no update on the second rod I ordered. After all the confusion was cleared up I think it was another 6 weeks before I got a replacement for the broken one. This one looked to be assembled by a drunk monkey. Lower rod handle was glued on crooked and the sharp edges right below the reel seat sliced my hand open. Instead of even bothering with customer service I sanded down the sharp edges of the graphite handle. A few weeks later the second rod finally showed up. This one had two eyelets on the rod guides glued over. Took it to a local guy to have them replaced. I've wasted more on less in my life by I will never buy another rod from them going forward.

Guess I've been lucky.

I have 2 Edge Cranking Rods and a Flipping Stick. I absolutely love all 3 rods.

I know early on they were having issues with shipping and broken rods, more than likely a courier issue. After receiving so many complaints they ordered a ton of PVC tubes. That set them back on delivery for some time, just getting in the materials to properly ship.

All 3 of my rods were delivered in the PVC tubes in perfect condition.
