It seems that it gets bad and then after a while it kind of tones down after a few days. Do you really stop stinking or does it just seems to stop after a while? For me, it kind of depends on what I wear. Cotten clothes seems to make it better, polyester seems to make it worse.

I wish there was a way to rate this. Freshly showed to goat, I am now thinking you can smell like a goat and wait it out for a while and you can settle somewhere close to maybe a dog or a damp towel.

Showers either have to be taken daily or every ten days or so. Days 4-5 seem to be the worst. Then it seems to get better.

Once you hit day 8-9 it seems to go south quickly. At that point, I’m thinking room temperature has a lot to do with it. Colder weather may help during this time frame as long as you don’t overdress and put on synthetic fibers.

But I always wear clean socks and underwear. Can’t compromise in that area.

Anyway, do you people stink and then not stink after a while? I think it’s possible.

Not cleaning yourself can lead to all sorts of issues; smelling is the least of the problems.
Shower or bath twice a day especially during flu season.

This body odor thingy is something I have noted on myself a few times in my 67 years but not often. Eating a lot of garlic can change the seeping odor from one's. pores too. I had to teach my boys about odor, man odor. My oldest has taken it so serious that he uses some kind deodorant that is absent the aluminum in most commercial anti-perspirants.

Anyway, people can stink. The standard for bathing 150 years ago was once a week. Often no soap for hands working out somewhere. Bathwater was communal for the family and I'm sure got so filthy with the baby being last the old saying came to pass "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater."

Must be daily for me, summertime can be twice a day. I use commercial deodorant , anti-bacterial soap, bath powder after drying of and then antifungal powders where I am more likely to accumulate and hold perspiration. I don't have bad BO ever.

Grandma said cleanliness is next to Godliness.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Why not just shower and make it a non issue on a daily basis?

Is that too simple?

I’ve seen YouTube videos of people being kicked off of planes because of it. Can’t even imagine the kind of funk somebody must be emitting to have that happen!

But it’s cold and I don’t like being cold.

I think you can mask it with barbecue smoke.
For a day or 2 at least
