I've had good luck with Red Wings in the past. Wearing Ariats now and like them a lot. I've had good luck with Red Wings in the past. Wearing Ariats now and like them a lot. 2x on Red wings. Never had issues with them Same here..I have worn the lace ups and pull ups for over 30 years. Many coworkers were replacing their work boots yearly. I was not doing that with the Red Wings

Bite the bullet for a better boot. A bit more that you wanted to pay: Get what you pay for
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I have to wear Met Guard boots. Have tried lots of brands over the past 26 years and these are the ones I've worn for the last 4 years or so. I don't pay for them, get a pair every year and they make a year with no issues. My only issue is the water proof and electrical hazard protection makes them hot in the summer. I wish someone made boots this comfortable without the water proof and electrical insulation. Justin Boots TANKER STEEL TOE $219.95 STYLE: WK2102 Timber Brown The Tanker Dark Brown Waterproof Steel Toe workboot combines a classic cowboy boot with functional modern details. The gun metal gray shaft and brown steel not only has style; it provides added protection of your metatarsals with a flexible and light weight XRD® Impact Protection Metguard that overlays the safety toe. For comfort and endurance, this waterproof boot features an Ortholite® insole and the Vibram® Commander-X5™ rubber outsole that is resistant to heat, oil, chipping, chemicals, and slipping. This boot is electrical hazard rated and meets ASTM F2413-11, 175, C75 EH MT safety footwear standards.

I wear Red Wings when I do stage work. Steel toe has been run over with a forklift and didn't even dent. Thanks Anthrax!

Sounds like a golden market opportunity for Crocs to fill!

I wear Justin's. They last me 1-1.5 years. Change the foot bed and they are the most comfy. Ariats are heavy and didn't like the sole. They lasted a long time but where not comfy. Did dr martins for a while too while doing hvac. Comfy but super heavy. The justins are $129 for non ST, and I think $149-4159 for ST. I do a hell week bbq with them and they are the only things I can do the week in. 16-20 hours a day on blacktop. Lifting, bending, walking, standing, etc...
