What a great trip. I’m skipping Mexico this month,but would love to do this one next year.
What were your airline connections? +1 curious if you did the private plane thing to the landing strip there or flew commercial and then van ride to the lake??

That lodge isn't the private plane gig but it's a great lodge. Carlos is awesome and I've fished with him on other lakes. You're thinking of Terry Hollan's lodge and most of us fly directly to the lodge. It turns a day of travel into a half day of travel. Los Torreones (Raul) is the one that Rockie is speaking of. Lake Baccarac Lodge is the one Terry Hollan owns. Awesome Trip Rockie! Now you see why we don't go anywhere else anymore. Every other trip is a DD so you're due for one on your next round. That lake will ruin you.  J P.S. Sorry about the Jersey Dan experience. Maybe he won't be there next time.
