Have a Garmin 986 unit on the front of my 2002 Triton networked to the bigger unit on the dash. Had entire boat worked over and serviced last year, and everything worked flawlessly. Now the front unit will not power up. I have checked all that I can check with my limited knowledge. Need someone to troubleshoot and repair. Is there a place near Ray Roberts ( I keep boat there) that does a great job on this? Looking for advice. Thanks

have you checked your ground circuit? that is the most common problem with boats, bad ground.

is there a fuse close to the battery? replace it even if it looks good, just went thru this with my heated mirrors on my truck.

use a meter to check for voltage at the graph, tells you if the graph or wiring have problems and is super easy to do.

You might want to check Facebook for Boris Marine Electronics, (817) 624-3932, they are in Ft Worth and are a Garmin authorized service center. This time of year they are only open Tuesday thru Friday.

Why don't you call Garmin technical support? That's where I would start out first.
