Got out for a while yesterday. On the water about 7:30 and off at 3:00. Water temp was right around 47. Air temp was 30 degrees with a north wind. It was cold. First stop was about 16’ of water, with brush and stake beds, it only produced 4 dinks. Moved to next spot in about 20 feet of water where some stake beds are. Marked a bunch of fish but only a couple of takers. Went across the lake and fished the brush and stake beds over there and finally got some cooperation. Mostly 16-18’. All the keepers came on black and chartreuse hand ties. 1/4 oz unpainted. Most of the takers were hanging on the edges of the structure, not down in it. Ended with 25 keepers and probably 6 dinks. All fish were released. I lost my scales somewhere so couldn’t weigh any. Weren’t any really big fish, but did catch another nice blacknose that was 12.5”.
Fishing is good right now if you can stand the elements. Tight lines all.

Awesome job sir! It was nice to meet you yesterday also. Now you have me looking into a livescope and possibly a different boat. That pontoon is hard to keep in one spot even with the spot lock TM. Your boat didn't even budge while mine was dancing back and forth. Glad you had a good day. I caught a a cat that was almost 3lbs on my ultra light right after I left you. Marked fish in several locations but just didn't have the right touch I guess.

Thanks for posting your detailed report, Rodney. In this day where people won't name the lake they fished or show something in a photo background, it's nice to have tangible information that may help me on the lakes that I fish. thumb
