The cascading effects of COVID-19 on the Just In Time Supply Chain are real. Some vendors gained priority on parts and components. Others are languishing behind. If a company tries to operate "Lean and Mean" they are more at risk. Where I work, we are currently about one year behind, and getting further behind every day. All Covid related delays. When we try to order aftermarket car parts, vendors just laugh. We had one car waiting for 6 months on red suede. A dozen cars waiting on LS motor parts. Hell, I placed a 30 sheet wood order two weeks ago, with our supplier in FtWorth, and just got it today. For almost double the old price. This virus [censored] is killing the working mans economy. Haha.
