Unfortunately I'm having to repair the hull of my nitro. I would like some feed back from guys that either have the Gator or Gorilla hulls. Pros/Cons and input or advice you can offer up.

Those will slow boat down on speed. I let Sun Valley Fiberglass fix it.

Thanks for the input, do you have a contact person? You can also DM me if you would like.

I put a hole in a Stratos that I had. It was just back of the drivers seat. Took it to Mike at Lake Fork Fiberglass and had him put on a Gator Hull. I did not have the entire hull done, just the running and pad area. At that time he was offering a lifetime warranty. I don't know if that is the case now. People will say they lost speed but in my case I gained 2mph. Boat will run faster with a roughed up hull. A real slick hull will slow you down. On all my new boats, and I got one every year, I would test it for speed in all kinds of conditions, then I would take a sander and rough up the running and pad surface and retest. I always increased speed and performance by at least 5%. I am not and engineer but I try to learn from those that are. Just saying.

Am also looking at a gator or gorilla hull. In Ranger 520, would love to get one that does not cause any performance loss. Not a speed demon to begin with.
