Yep, I watched him hit a few back when the Braves were in Milwaukee. One game was ball day and I got the last one at the gate where we entered. Then during the game I got a foul ball that rolled down from behind and hit my foot. We were behind home plate and it hit about 10 rows back.

Back in the day, Hammering Hank thrilled every kid. Even though he played for the visiting team, for days leading up to the game (if you had tickets) you’d talk about hoping to see him hit one.

I got to go see him play many times in St. Louis...I don’t recall ever leaving the ballpark disappointed!

I saw him hit the record breaker in 1974. It was on TV, but I saw it.

Hank was pure greatness in MLB.

Hank was 6 foot a 180 pounds.
been around a lot of baseball players and some can just hit a ball and make it go farther than others.
has nothing to do with there size.
Hank had...IT....
