Any first hand or experience would be appreciated.
Looking to buy a 18 ft flat bottom aluminum boat with a Yamaha 70 hp four stroke tiller drive. The boat is a little distance to go test drive. I'm concerned about torque. Can any one share experience? Thanks in advance

Prop torque is created when the prop starts to surface, if that motor is stuck down in the water, it should be minimal. It's a easy fix either way, skeg mounted torque tab will calm it down a ton. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/5Kg6vj8/torque-tab.jpg)

Great information Goff. Never heard of the torque tabs. Make perfect sense. Thanks
