It says "in federal buildings or on federal lands". But it also says that the different agencies look and see what the current CDC guidelines are for masks and distancing to form their policies. That to me means when you can't social distance. So when you are on a lake you should be safe. Most bass boats allow you to keep 6' apart and I'm really not sure they would single you out if you were a foot too close out in the open.

If you are in your boat which is above (hopefully) the water you are on private property above the State and Federal property and don’t have to wear a mask except when you are out of the boat to/from your tow vehicle. Wish me luck!

Wish me luck! In Texas anyway, I think the mandate covers federal lands the same as state law does. Not required if you maintain a safe distance.

I still am totally lost as to where or where not we should wear a mask. I did notice yesterday, that the new press secretary or whatever her title is, held the first press briefing on federal property inside a federally owned building maskless. So confusing... #MFGA
