Which circuit is Mike Iaconelli fishing in 2021? I didn't see him on the roster for the Elites or Bass Pro Tour, or even FLW.

He said on Luke Dunkin that he was hoping for an invite but that may have been tongue in cheek. Also mentioned doing some kayak tourneys.

Him and his wife have looked after their money wisely, he doesn't need to fish anything and has the power to pick and chose his own future.

Smart move....there's more money in media production, youtube generation, etc than any tournaments. Make way more and have fun doing it

whatever he does I wish him well. I have followed his career from the bass fed to the pros, his own Friday night programs and fan club, and doing instructional videos. . He is absolutely great with kids and putting on a benefit tournament each year in the Delaware River. Yeah there have been some dumb moves, but I don't think any of them were intentional. Just got carried away at the moment except for the yelling.

the yelling is intentional and a way for him to blow off his emotions at that point and perhaps a little acting.

Good luck Mike!

I would think he would take a legend exemption to go back to BASS if one was given. Two people ahead of him on the legend exemptions that might come back. One is Roland Martin and I can’t remember who the other is.

As I understand it, the use of those exemptions require a vote of approval from BASS leadership and angler commissions, and in the case of Ike I suspect he’s already been told he would not receive the votes of approval needed to be allowed back into BASS.

They decided to give no exemptions this year, Roland and Nixon both wanted in but they didn't get the call up, Ike don't know if he wanted back or would have taken if offered.
