Hey guys,
Looking at the weather. Looks like Saturday and Sunday look great. Monday is looking rough. (offshore)
Anyone else able to confirm? Debating 1 or 2 nights stay.
Thanks!
R

Been very windy in north Texas today, so it may take several hours for the seas to start falling tomorrow. Sunday looks good, but short windows can collapse. Building again Monday. If you go, let us know how you do.

If you go, let us know how you do. Heading out around 9am tomorrow. Will hope to fish a little close in before it gets too dark.. then will fish Sunday. May head out for a bit Monday but plan to be home that evening. Will have pictures.. hope to get some drone footage as well.. heh R

Buoyweather is forecasting 2 footers but very short intervals of 3-4 seconds until noon when it flattens out to 1 footers but with a 9 second iintervals..
So it might be a bit bumpy at the very first part of the trip, but great from noon on until 6pm Sunday when the waves increase and intervals shorten back to 3 seconds.

Even on smaller 2 foot days you want the interval to be at a very minimum double the height or it is miserable. Preferably triple. Remember 2 foot waves can be a 4 foot wave face. Waves are measured from mean level to crest, not trough to crest. A 4 foot wave face every 3-4 seconds is rough stuff when you are trying to battle them in a bay boat. Interval can be as important as the actual size on making a determination on going out or not.

I am aware of that, thanks. Monday is not looking fun, but Sunday is not bad.
