I took out Dennis, his wife Marty and their 14 yr old son Buddy out today. This was Dennis's and Marty's Anniversary gift to each other (24 years). Happy Anniversary and Congrats on a nice catch today. We ended up 47 nice crappie with 3 over 1.5 pounds largest being 1.9 pounds. We caught well over 100 all together today. It is always a thrill for me to see a family out spending quality time like this together. Dennis you have a great family, I was touched with the hug your wife gave me at the end of the trip. Yall are good people and I hope our friendship we started today continues through the years.
Cliff

Most of the crappie are coming out of some willow piles in 15 to 20 foot of water, You can pick up a some in trees as well 1 or 2 per tree. The corp piles are off and on.

texoma striper...

You can find piles in the depth Cliff mentioned on either side of the main arm of the lake. Usually 20-30 yds away from the banks is where you'll find those depths.

Once found on your finder, just use your trolling motor to stay on the pile or whatever works for you. You look hard enough, you'll find a pile or two of the gov't corp piles.

First 3 hours or so of the morning, or last 3-4 hours of the late afternoon/evening. I'd love to try night fishing sometime, but folks need lights and all that jazz, and you need to know where your spots are.

Good luck and good fishing.
