Here is an option: Academy Terminal BoxI have used this for about a year now and like it. I can see the foam getting worn out after a couple of years, but its not soo incredibly expensive Same, I have had this one for about a year now, for the money it is hard to beat. Me too it’s great

As far as rust, a lot of stuff comes with those little packets that impede dampness. Might be worth a try

I got one of these after seeing the Bass Mafia ones and before the Academy ones showed up on their site. I also got it when they were on sale for about 40% off. Plano Edge 3700 Terminal

I just use a shallow Plano box. Everything stays in place no problem.

I've had boats for 30 years and have never had hooks and/or baits rust. What are you guys doing to get that much water in your boxes? Are you opening them up during a downpour? Storing your boat outside with no cover?? I'm baffled by this thread and others like it. probably not letting them air dry before stowing Stowing is when moisture gets into my boat lol. I store my boat outside and even though I keep it tightly covered, when it rains heavily or with big temperature changes, moisture makes its way into all of my compartments.

I use smaller boxes and have techniques in each box.
3500 boxes and 3640-10 if you NEEDED waterproof.
I have 5 boxes
texas rig... hooks weights beads bobber stops etc
weighted swimbait hooks in another
shakey heads, swing heads, jig heads
c rig, flipping
wacky drop shot hooks and some misc tungsten drop shot weights (this one is even smaller than a 3500)
I do have a over flow type box with many more drop shot weights, terminal tackle like split rings, treble hooks, stick on lead, pieces of lead solder. etc.
I refill my small boxes from a BIG box where Im easily stocked up for years to come that I keep in my shop or rv. I basically do this exact same thing. Been at it for almost a year, works great for me

Tried everything over the years, even the bass mafia. The best solution I have found is using a roll tackle type system....Allowing you to keep the hooks, weights, swivels etc.....all in their original packaging. Once you try it, you'll never go back. I do keep 1 separate terminal box just for tournaments since we use my partners boat but other than that, everything in the roll. I like these but there are several types out there... https://wraptortackleroll.com/

Used this Falcon box for years. Same here, except mines not so neat and has about 10 times more stuff...Plano making it now.. I found some (rug grippers) at walmart --same 2 sided sticky stuff there putting in that new line of tackle boxes except a lot cheaper.. I put some in the weight slots to keep them from banging the paint off. A piece of it on your truck dashboard will keep your sunglasses from sliding.
