https://youtu.be/UjRWtkjLu1kThis set up gives you the options to turn, follow, and fight a fish hands-free by using fins, as well as being powered for longer distances. Some versions allow everything to be pulled out of water, so that you can float past shallows in only three or four inches of water. Pretty easy for a senior citizen like me to handle, easy in and out just by sitting down or for standing up fishing in the shallows, without anchor. I do not have one of these but have tried something similar. I am not endorsing this particular brand, there may be others that are considerably less costly.

Do the Scadden boats have a good reputation for durability?

Depends, mostly negative reports, and same on BBB. https://www.washingtonflyfishing.com/forum/index.php?threads/127097/page-5Post #72 summarizes my feelings, but I've never bought anything directly from them. NRS and Outcast, are other companies to consider. If you buy something from them, try to do it through Walmart or Amazon where it is returnable.

what I found also. Outcast is a possibility, not familiar with NRS but I will look them up. I would go for the venture outdoors 6e except I dont want to deal with the weight. Sea Eagle also has one I a looking at. Thanks Porta

If it has any power drive, it will need to have TX numbers.

No TX # needed, if only used on private waters, AFAIK. Also, TX# work in other states with reciprocal agreements, if you travel out of state with your powered tube.
