MyHealtheVet.va.gov The VA messaging system sent me the message earlier today regarding the covid vaccine given to vets in high risk categories at the VA hosp in HOUSTON ONLY. No local clinics have the vaccines as yet. There is a section on My HealtheVet you click on to , to let them know your interested. someone will contact you when more vaccine is available and set up an appt. NO WALKINS to get the shot. message stated to contact your VA PCP about your health conditions and see if you can take the shot. If you are a vet and get health care thru the VA, please register. Check out the website and see what it has to offer. I'm sure you will sign up.

Are you a MyHealtheVet premium member? Signing up for that is a PIA. been one for yrs now. for a shot, msg your pcp that you want the shot, ask for an appt. specifically. if not available then ask for outside access thru mission act. they should give you a private location for an alt. if available. if you wait on them to do something you may be a while, quite a while right now.

100% correct. The VA hires the doctors that no one else wants, the ones who graduated in the bottom 2% of their class. If they can't get those they hire any foreign doctor who applies for a job, those will mostly be Indians who think they are gods but who are completely incompetent. All the bs about how the VA cares for the vets is absolute bs, all they care about is numbers and looking good, they don't give a rats a$$ about the vets. But that is what socialized medicine will be like when the liberals get their wish.

The feds can send billions to foreign countries in a heart beat, then renege on promises to our Vets. Our Vets have been treated like a cur dog while congress keeps getting richer.

The MyHealtheVet is one of the best things the VA has come up with. Easy to order prescription refils, or ask any of your health providers questions or get appointments. I also like being able to review my lab test and xrays before my appointments.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Not me. I’ll let everyone else get it, then I won’t have to. Honestly, I don’t trust it. We are already seeing making it mandatory inoculation. Nope.
