We took a trip to Choke this weekend and our oldest daughter and her family met us there. We launced from the 99 bridge and headed down stream caught nothing but dinks. As we were fishing we came across this big gator sunning.

We turned and started up river maybe we'd find some crappie. Went passed the bridge a ways and tied off to some standing timber. Found a few keepers and some dinks mixed in there. There were some redear down at 15ft with the crappie. Also caught a few gou.

We kept 17 crappie and 5 white bass. Our daughter kept the fish for an upcoming fish fry.
We had so much fun fishing with family. fish all fish caught on JIGLYF jigs
