The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

Streamlight Strion-rechargeable, tough aircraft grade aluminum construction, adjustable beam, great customer service if you ever need it.

Coast brand, I have several and never had a problem. Solid construction, just as good as the big name ones but cheaper.

Fenix. I've used them everyday for three years. I carry one in a belt holster I had made all the time.

I have a couple of these. One on the kitchen counter, one on the nightstand and one in the car and truck....Can't afford the high dollar ones.

Check out Gearlight on Amazon I have several and they seem to be really good for the price. Unlike others I don’t want rechargeable I prefer ones that use AA batteries and I use Energizer Lithium so no worries about leakage.

my favorite for plain old flashlight is still the maglight, I have 1AAA to 6d cell, can't beat them for the money/durability.

I use the 3d cells around the ranch a lot, have 3 of them.

if you want small pocket size then streamlight, I have 5 different versions led/ir and they are stout.

That's me. I must have a dozen flashlights of various configurations. The handiest one is the little $1 Walmart dude that clips on the bill of my cap.
