Hey you fly tyers. Has anyone purchased the Made 2 Fly tying desk?? Or has anyone heard about this desk?? I am currently tying in my garage, and it is too hot. I saw this desk on-line, and I am wandering if any of you have any info about this product. If not, maybe someone can go on-line, and see what you think. Looks like a pretty good deal for the money, and seems pretty practical. Let me know what youv'e heard, or think. Later, trout bum

Looks like a nice enough product although I confess that I have never used one. product page Made2Fly All I'll say is research where you'll place it in the house and sort out how it'll all work out before you pull the trigger.

I have a friend that does all types of wood works and he's building me one. It will be big enough to house a rotory wheel for epoxy drying, integrated trash bin, recessed vise location, light fixture with electrical outlets, and storage for everything. Just waiting for the time to get it finished and move into my work room.
If anyone is looking for saltwater/freshwater flies (streamers/clousers..etc etc) let me know. I am also available for custom flies needing to be made.

Keep an eye out for "sewing tables" on craigslist and you might find a gem.

Troutbum told me that his wife gave the OK, he's just got to figure out where it goes in the house. So far he gets to tie in the garage. Les

Might use the summer heat as an excuse to get it in the house A Walmart bag around the vise stand helps capture waste and leave a cleaner house

Guys, good news. I just finished an absolutely horrible week of work. It sucked. The wife felt sorry for me, so we headed to Bass Pro, and she went to Grapevine Mills. Met up with redneck redass, and talked flytying. Great stuff. Loaded up on supplies, and I've been tying all day, INSIDE on the coffee table. Heading to Colorado in 11 days, THANK GOD!!!!! Tying up elk hair caddis, wet flies, nymphs, and the new fly I'm tying called the red neck red [censored]. Thanks Charlie for the tip. Easy fly to tie, looks killer. I have changed up a bunch of different color combinations, and I am using partridge for the collar. Will send pictures when I learn how. Later, troutbum
