Had a great day fishing yesterday with Brad (Circle B Guide Service) and Jerry (Jerry’s Guide Service). We were fishing a minor cold front and wanted to try using the thumper with deadsticking and bait. We hit several spots and thumped in lots of fish at each spot, but the fish had lockjaw… We ended up catching 8 striper and about 8 nice sandbass. The striper were all fat and healthy and already carrying eggs! We probably caught half of the fish on deadstick and half of the fish on bait. As the water temperature cools and the bait slows down, the thumping and deadsticking is only going to get better and better!
