Id go to Falcon.
The first week of Jan 2019 I was fishing in shorts and it was as warm as 90, it did cool down for the next 7 weeks but was still often in the 70s by mid day.
I went to East Texas this year for Feb, Mar, April and caught 400 more fish than I did in the same length of time on Falcon the year before but not as many over 7.
Falcon can be a complete bust if you only have a week, between the wind and cold fronts that constantly roll in and out I saw many more unhappy faces at the ramp than happy ones.
That said fishing in shorts in Jan is legit worth it, Ithink Im loading up myself and heading down for a whiile.. Its zero at my house today.

I would go to Arbuckle and be that much closer to Tenkiller. Tenkiller has been fishing well, Arbuckle is really tuff

I cant thank everyone for their advice. As always the site it active and willing. I appreciate it folks, I am likely going to hit some powerplant lakes and possibly try Tenkiller.
May ask for some early March help.

Here’s some info on La Cygne including a couple numbers to call to see if they are generating/running the plant. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/12/full-30144-78796-b4f2b6cf_d227_4b1d_bc20_441d0b1e726d.jpeg)

You might call Coffey County (Wolf Creek) first. I had heard they were closed for a while because of Covid causing them to not have enough staff to man the gate. Oh, and there are some really nice smallmouth in there. Years ago I caught a 4# largemouth and a 3# smallmouth on the same cast at the hot water discharge.

Retired grass grower The lake is open, the wind will be the biggest factor now. Some nice smallmouth being caught now.
