So much krap in this. His explanation is krazy and unrealistic.

I can see demand for the self defense pistol rounds, .223/5.56x45 being over the top and maybe even .308 / 7.62x51.

But, I can promise there is not a huge increase in 7mm Rem Mag or the 30.06 he spoke of and there is none on the shelves ...NONE ! Hasn't been either for months. Why no hunting rounds?

Excellent video. Thanks, good to know. 7 million more shooters in the last few months. That is impressive.

Not really. It is like when everyone panics and fills their gas to the brim, or everyone buys TP to the max, folks just bought all they could whether needed or not, thus shortages occur when the supply chain is as it had always been.

Hoarding. Yes, I can see that. I had a hard time finding .177 cal pellets. Anything that can be a projectile is being bought up.

Every where I have been they had shotgun shells in stock.

Starting to see some 9mm and .380 show up on shelves but can't find .243 or 270 rounds to save my life.

Anybody have any 7mm Rem Mag in 165 grain they'll sell for around $30-$35/box ? Asking for a friend.

Yeah, seems there has been lots of steel shot locally and the low brass stuff in lead.

My opinion is most ammo is being made over seas and the Covid pandemic has caused other countries to hoard also
We lost all our foundries back under Obama and we have struggled ever since to get ammo and supplies from other countries
Who do you think really cares for Americans any more

We need to bring our companies back here but especially the companies that build our ammo. We wonโ€™t be able to defend ourselves if we are attacked from over seas since they supply our ammo needs

Not exactly what you're asking about, but ... beggars can't be choosers, right?

This is speculation on my part, and I could be full of ****, ok? The ammo factories devote most of their production to high-volume stuff like 9mm, 5.56mm and so forth. I suspect that the majority of their production efforts right now are for those high demand calibers. If I were running the factories, I'd be more concerned with getting lots of 40s&w shipped out over making some 338 win mag or 7mm hunting rounds.

Oh, and hoarding.
