 Cranes Mill Park at Canyon Lake

Is there free day use at this park, or do they charge a fee? I can only find rates on campsites. Since I have a small kayak I can launch almost anywhere, I don't need a boat ramp.

Lots of free ramps on Canyon. Just not lots of courtesy docks.

Cranes Mill on the north side, ramp 23 is free and has a courtesy dock. Nice area to fish as well.

That's in Mystic Shores Park and not Cranes Mill.
I believe the OP is wanting to launch on the other side of the lake than Mystic.

Yes google says the fishing dock is free but that's 2 year old info so it may have changed.
