I went out yesterday evening for about two hours and caught 20 with 11 keepers. Went back out this morning and told the wife I wasn’t coming home until I had a limit. I’m proud to say I caught my very first 25 fish limit today on Ray Roberts from 8:30 to noon. The active fish for me were on and around deeper piles in 35 to 40 feet of water. Lots of fish hanging on the bottom but they were ready to play. If I’m catching any then the rest of y’all should be able to hammer them. All my fish came from a single Tubbs Tackle plastic jig in swamp chicken that I never took off. It’s fun to finally have a little success for once.
