That was just excellent. If you're in Eufaula (Alabama) you've probably fished off our place - we bought the original fish camp for the area (up from & across the bridge from Baker's Landing).

I totally get it about thinking outside the box. Too often fishing becomes a peacock parade of wealth instead of expertise. Our grandparents never owned the first electronic anything - and brought back huge stringers of fish.
