I think so, not much you can do but scrap it. I have two on my roof, one old and one new. I went up to take the old one down but gave up real quick

yep it's trash. They used to ask for you to send back the part that aims back at the dish but I don't even think they do that anymore.

You tube tv will get you most everything for 65 a month if you have good internet, I have been thinking of going that way.

I've been working towards kicking Direct TV to the curb even without a rate increase. With all of the internet based on-demand TV available it just doesn't make sense to keep paying their ridiculous rates when we only really watch about 5 out of 300 or so channels. The only thing keeping me tied to them right now is sports. Once I crack that nut, they are gone!

we put dish on the "vacation mode" for 3 months so we could try U tube TV. WE are pleased however miss a few shows not available on it.
we have net flix ,prime, few others. there are some free channels on u tube, instead of $200 month it $70.00. I can put up a regular antenna for over air and get 12 more channels .

Killeen, Temple, Waco and Bryan have been without NBC for several weeks. They sent an antenna to pick up NBC but it doesn't work. It SUCKS big time. Don't have any idea how long they will be in negotiations to get NBC back.

When I cut the cord several years back I took the dish off my roof threw it in the trash and used the existing pole to mount an OTA antenna. Works great.

I'd leave it up . After about 3 months you're gonna be barraged with offers at a lower rate .

Mom has the same problem with Dish . They quit carrying Fox 33 and NBC .

I cut the cord years ago .

That's what I did. Used their pole and their coax for my OTA antenna. Made it super easy.

We’ve been using YouTubeTV for a couple years now and really like it. Our TVs are not “smart” enough so we use Chromecast to cast.

Highly recommend YouTube TV. It works well and serves our needs.

Me too. Cut DTV off last March and installed an Antop OTA antenna and started with Hulu Live when college football started. $54 a month for a good sports lineup and other channels......however it just went up $10 a month beginning today. Cutting it off after the CFP games.
