Since this sub forum is dedicated to lure making, how about showing off some of the best most interesting custom lure work you've seen or done. Anything, whether it's a wirebait, hardbait, soft plastic, jig..whatever. Anything that you think will interest visitors to this sub forum. Here's an example of an SKO Jr. from Predator Bass baits that just came off the paint bench. This male pumpkinseed color scheme is based on work done by a taxidermist.

This specific unpainted blank is from Predator Bass baits:
SKO jr.
But there are other online stores that sell the exact or similiar SKO unpainted blanks. My experience with Predator Bass baits unpainted blanks is that they seem to be pretty good quality.

Here's a color scheme that's done by a guy selling on ebay. The color scheme is "badass bream"....pretty appropriate name. The feathered tail hook seals the deal.

This color scheme is one of mine. I call it "Sneek" and its not specific to any species of forage but, some folks suggest it looks like a Gold shiner.

I'm seeing a lot of these "decal" lures listed as custom painted lures. Its a decal glued to a lure blank and them touched up with an airbrush. They look good and I'm not critical of the end product just not so sure it should be called custom painted since neither the color scheme or the pattern are created by the "custom painter". So is it a custom painted lure or a custom painted decal on a lure? What do you think?
