They are good rods for sure. They are just too stiff for me.

Better than decent. Excellent rods. Very tough rods that can really take a beating. I use them at Possum kingdon and catch fish on them that would break those Mr. Crappie rods. ( Note: I have a bunch of Mr Crappie rod bottoms in my garden I use as stakes to prove how fragile those rods are.

that' s a good un, yes i have landed 6 to 10lb cats & some bass in 41/2 5lbs range and was in heavy cover,[think willows& bois d arc stumps] and got em , yep pretty tough.
