My childhood was in that part of town and that base being SAC we got to see some great peacemaker birds

My dad really liked that plane for some reason and I still have a model of it up in a closet that we never got the chance to put together.

That video with Jimmy Stewart was neat the was a great man and my Grandfather’s bombing commander in WW 2 and was held in high esteem by his men.

My dad said that the tube that runs from the front compartment to the back compartment had a conveyor to take you thru.

Carswell AFB has a 12,000 ft runway and it took the better part of it.

When we used to fish lake worth at the end of the runway it was like you could reach out and touch them. 🇺🇸

Yep , and B52s landing, the vortex off each wing followed the 52 about 5 seconds later and rippled the water

I sat out there when the space shuttle took off on the 747. It was freaking awesome!
