Anyone ever added flotation pods to a Pontoon Boat? Would be a pretty simple and straightforward design. They would either be tig welded onto the rear of the existing pontoons, or possibly bolted on to the rear transom extension. Looking to raise the rear of the boat, while in shallower waters. Would it work?

No reason it won't. Never seen it done, but that doesn't mean anything.

Might be easier to find a crunched toon somewhere and just add a full floatation log and make it a tritoon.
