I am looking to book a guide on Broken Bow this spring and looking for guide recommendations? Bass is the focus but wouldn’t mind a guide that stays on top of the crappie as well if we wanted to spend a little bit of the day on crappie. Also any recommendation on what month you feel is the most productive from February to May? Thanks for the help!

Doug Story is as good as they get, he is terrific on crappie and he loves to bass fish, I would say April would be prime time for all species.

I have also done well in May for LM and SM. It will probably be clear unless there has been a lot or rain so adjust our line size accordingly.

While he'll probably be on Fork in the Spring, Jonathon Bowling is a young kid who is a really good guide and B-Bow is his home lake. Give him a shout at 580-306-1822.
