It goes without saying ... but I'll say it anyway.

Make certain that the electrical connections are to code and are safe. Many people have been electrocuted or drowned because of electrical currents that leaked out into the water from faulty or incorrect wiring. Not only would it be a terrible event, but you could be held liable. Please get a qualified electrician to install these.

Another portable or temporary option with less amperage would be to make some DIY submersible waterproof LEDs from waterproof LED light strips (green is popular) and PVC tube that you fill with rock/grave end cap seal them and long insulated wire them to a 12Volt deer feeder battery. Plenty of Youtube videos on how to make them.

Lots more options than just a few years ago. Some are not as bright as others. Honestly don’t remember which one I have.

I have (had) four on fork and have replaced probably 6-7 bulbs (which means 25’-50’ of cable each time since the connection to the bulb is sealed) over the years. It’s expensive and tedious especially since I’ve never broken one myself.

Be prepared for them to break if you’re on a busier lake like fork. Usually it’s people that fish them and hang up their bait and either break the bulb or tear the cable and cause a short. Pull them up during low water or trolling motors and even big motors will cut the cable. Other people will probably fish them more than you.

Despite all the trouble, they can be truly amazing for bringing in all species of fish throughout the year.

I make mine. All my circuits are arc/ground fault circuits. But I've bought Green Monster, Green Glow and Underwater Green Fishing lights (175 W, 250 W, 400W and 1000W). I've had several hooks in the wires and several cut electrical cables. The circuit breakers shut things off when that happens. I've built up to 1000 watt systems and those are the brightest. It costs me less than half what you'd pay retail to get one. If you get one be sure to run wire through PVC pipe to the light and then up the side of the dock. It will prevent somebody messing up the cable with a hook or a trolling motor.

I made my own, it’s a lot cheaper than the retail ones and way brighter. Both of the underwater lights under my dock are 1000 watt metal halide bulbs on 200’ cords and are visible in 15’ of water.

12v led strips on a solar charge system, small deep cycle will last all night with multiple strips.

4-6 3' strips will do a dock easy.
