I have a brick archway at the house. I can’t get the plastic bulb hangers to stick and stay put. The tape always lets go after a couple of days. I’ve tried a couple of different double sided tapes with the same results. What something to use that will stay put is still removable?

Have you tried doing something like using a thin wire to hang off the top of the arch, taking some of the weight of the strand and then using just plain ol' masking tape? I hang a boat load of flyers around campus on brick walls and plain ol' masking tape works the best for those. I would imagine the weight of the strand is your issue, so transferring a portion of that elsewhere might help.

Will the clip be visible where its taped? If not, find some curb adhesive. Its usually black. Works great. Getting it off will be a chore.
